Ding ding ding Peter. Unless the Fords change the way they do business, business as usual will continue to produce sub-par NFL results. The problem is I can’t disagree with what they are doing from a business aspect. When the “Record Setting Lions” went 0-16, I bet Ford Field was still close to maximum capacity. Why fix it, if it ain’t broke? The Fords could have filled the roster with anyone to go 16-0, but if it still yields profit drawing crowds, then why change? Fan need to stop going to Lions games to get the point across to the front office. We want more! It happened to the Tigers, so why not the Lions?

I do agree that we are getting better, I mean the expectations are really low for Detroit. You look at the conference we are in that includes: Packers, Bears, and Vikings. With the Vikes nabbing Mcnabb, I thing we are currently in last if we started football today. Packers are LOADED and can sign anyone they want at this point. We still cannot buy a CB if we wanted, so lets pray that our DL is lights out.

Wishful thinking Luke. I’m worried that they will not open up the wallets and spend on quality. Rebuilding a team from within takes time. Fans are getting restless.
