SPYING ON THE ENEMY: Thorsday Open Thread: January 4, 2017

Hello Lions Fans

It seems that lots of Detroit Lions fans try to not only keep up with their hometown Lions, but also try to keep an eye on what the loathed division foes are doing, We decided to occasionally check out what’s happening in the enemy camp.

Here’s a post to keep you filled in on what the other teams in our division are up to

Thorsday Open Thread: January 4, 2017

Well, we’ve nearly made it through week one of our two week Vikings football drought.

Happy Thirsty Thorsday, everyone!

Well, we’re crawling through week one of the playoffs (or the bye week, if you’re the Vikings 🙂 ), and we’re ~ 11 days away from Vikings football.

Anyone doing anything on the smoker this weekend? I had a prime rib on Sunday (it was absolutely amazing, I’ll remember to get pictures next time), and I’m thinking I should do something on the smoker this weekend, I’m just not sure what to put on there yet.

Maybe I’ll do chili in the crock pot instead, that sounds pretty yummy. too. I always use a pound of hamburger & a pound of ground pork, diced maters, kidney beans (light red and dark red), some homemade salsa, jalapenos, serranos, onions (sauteed) & a little celery & peppers, then seasoning (lots); slow cook for 10+ hours, eat, done.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

From skelly10, Sam Bradford was a full participant at practice on Wednesday. Isn’t it crazy? 4 years ago, the Vikings had less than zero options at quarterback (yes, that’s possible, don’t try to correct me). Fa ” >”>
